Amazing hotel with its great bar, friendly staff, and excellent wi-fi. They even helped me with returning my sim cards left behind. Highly recommend a visit!

The grounds have a historic charm, with beautifully kept gardens and a striking Great Hall that's perfect for events or gatherings. The parking availability is convenient, making it easy to come and go without hassle.
My accommodation felt a bit basic, perhaps not ideal if you're looking for luxury. The building work around the site was distracting, and some advertised facilities like the gym were out of order. The breakfast experience felt lacking. the buffet wasn't replenished often and the coffee left much to be desired. Lastly, the room was noticeably small, which might be cramped after an extended stay.

Consider requesting a room in the main house for a potentially quieter and more comfortable stay.

Beautiful surroundings, Impressive conference facilities, Access to relaxing common areas
Confusing signage for navigating between buildings!!! Early checkout time of 9:30 AM puts unnecessary pressure on guests!!!

The expansive gardens offer a lovely outdoor setting for a peaceful stroll. The on-site gym remains accessible throughout the day, which is great for early risers or night owls. The breakfast had a decent variety of options, making it suitable for different tastes.
Navigating between different buildings can be a bit of a headache, especially without clear signage—don’t bother unloading your car until you check in. The deluxe room felt cramped, with a more basic vibe reminiscent of university halls. having to revert to bar food due to limited restaurant offerings was disappointing. Even though the bar food was decent, I expected more from a place branded as upscale. On top of that, the absence of pricing on the menu during dinner and unnecessary confusion around wifi access made for an altogether uneven experience.

I loved the cozy atmosphere and the clean, spacious room we stayed in for two nights. The sauna and gardens were perfect spots to unwind after a long day. The only downside was that we had to walk a bit to reach our room, but it was worth it for everything else! 😊

Stunning venue with great food!
The grounds here are super pretty, and the cows nearby added a nice touch. The room was fine, but it was way too hot and I struggled to sleep. The restaurant food was bomb—had some amazing lamb! Would def recommend the place for events.

a pleasant stay with some minor improvements needed
The location offered beautiful views of the surrounding countryside, creating a relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast provided a delightful variety, with fresh options that catered to both adults and children.
The coffee station, while convenient, could use a more extensive selection of beverages.

Beautiful setting with well-maintained gardens enhances the overall stay. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, and the restaurant delivered exceptional food that felt underpriced for its quality. breakfast hours could be extended, and the coffee was below expectations. The room was on the smaller side, but it didn't detract significantly from our experience.
